The Korean April 25 Film Studio produced a feature film "Hwangcholnamu (Korean poplar) Company".

The film impressively tells about officers of a company of the Korean People's Army, who have taken pains to increase its combat capability by achieving the unity between officers and soldiers based on the revolutionary comradeship true to the noble intention of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il.

In the film Mu Song, commander of the company, relieves a soldier from mental suffering and unhesitatingly risks his life to rescue a soldier who was put in danger in the course of military training. Meanwhile, he educates soldiers in principle to strictly observe the military discipline.

A shower bath ground is successfully built in the company by its officers' devoted efforts and, after all, the soldiers respect the officers and do their best for them.

During his inspection of the company, the Supreme Commander of the KPA gives high appreciation of its officers' efforts devoted to the unity between officers and men in the company after watching a Korean poplar (Hwangcholnamu in Korean) near its barracks and sees to it that the company is called "Hwangcholnamu Company".

Through the portrayal of the company's officers, the film instills the idea that the KPA, the ranks of the Songun revolutionary comrades, is invincible as it has such admirable commanding officers.
